She really gets to me,
That silly silly cow.
She taunts and she moans and she yaks at us all day long.
Saying things that make no sense,
As she's constantly finding reasons just to make a sound.
She blabbers about politics, the weather & the news,
She gossips about everybody;
to her, she's never wrong.
And boy does she complain
this silly silly cow,
about every thing that passes her by...
Just so that everyone will hear her calls
Her bragging is of a different calibre
It's really quite a scam.
She seems to know a lot.
Though in reality,
Her 'knowledge' equates to...
Naught.
Her skills & stories are bountiful
Yet, evidence is scarce.
She grates on nerves & steps on toes
And doesn't seem to care.
Yet,
She's the voice of reason
This silly silly old cow,
For behind the impatience & spiteful words
Lies a lonely heart.
Her words hold truths that we try to ignore.
She may fib & tell tales but
There's are messages that are as clear as day.
Warnings that cut, & cause much damage and pain.
Yet, we are young,
And that is our fault.
For its clear that its our youth & energy that strikes at the core...
This old heart,
Who's beating grows slower yet,
Is a heart who has suffered & bled.
She has so much love
So much knowledge.
Yet, so painful to see how
She refuses to embrace
Her beauty & her grace.
For time & age has become her enemy,
One she cannot erase.
She's given me a lot this old cow,
I can only pray for patience and a filter that will keep her pure in my heart.
For she's truly my voice of reason,
My true supporter & greatest fan.
This silly silly cow,
Whom I can't help but adore.
No matter what she says,
No matter what she claims,
For I will always admire her,
& love her.
She's my voice my reason,
She's really quite grand,
Cause at the end of the day,
She's my gran.
