Hello,
It's been a while, but I'm finally home from Italia.
It is also only 7.46pm in Italia so I'm pretty much AWAKE... trying to make myself tired.
and it seems to be working.
It' s really been one heck of a trip with a truck load more ups than downs.
We worked hard, and really performed our hardest and as a result, we've brought back 4 awards for the school and the country. It was one of the most fulfilling, amazing, mind-boogling experiences that I've ever encountered. No money can ever buy that. It has also allowed me to come to terms with my dancing and really made me re-evauate my lack-of-options and my current decisions. Nonetheless, it was the most breath-taking trip hands down, absolutely fabulous.
I'm so proud of the dancers that made it up there, running and dancing in the cold; remaining focused despite the scary italian men scolding us and for just never letting the spirit of the team drop, even after the competition. For once in a really long time, I felt so proud to be known as a Vj Dancer. I really hope this trip has opened many doors for they rest of them as well because it really was a tough trip. Not exactly a holiday like it seems cause of the nagging stress in our minds but the support and the love was enough to last a couple of liftimes through. I'm just so damn proud.
But now it's back to reality, and boy did it hit hard. I was down with a fever on the flight from Milan to Amstadam. It was absolute insanity... And extremely painful and cold. Thank you Jia yi & Shan for taking care of me. I then spent the rest of my day spamming panadol and flu medication so I've managed to surpress the sickness somewhat. Perhaps I'm over doing it but I really have no choice. With CT1s coming up, it really is no joke. Time to really get down to that revision time kim.
Gosh, got a couple of good buys whilst in Italy but got shit for some stuff the moment I got home, really didn't like it one bit but apparently, it has gotten worse since I was last home and that I need to control my tongue and facial expressions now. I've actually been chased out of my own damn room. Well my friends, I'm pretty sure you already know what I'm talking about. Seems like I couldn't be spared a day. Oh well.
Ah. 3.30 am, and i'm STILL wide awake. So not good.
Anyway...
I think I've fallen in love with italy :)
Will post some Italia pictures here soon.
Met nice amazing dancers this trip. New friends from Italy, I'm totally digging it:) Sorry, but I just it cool to have such a nice sounding last name like.. Annunziato. And also the fact that Franscesco calls me crazy for disliking chinese... Come on, What's there not to like? hahaha. :)
lotsa love as always,
kim xxx
