Today's going to be a shopping extravaganza..

Well, at least i hope it will be. :)
It's only 10.11 am and yet, this morning's already been a bit too theatrical for my liking.

My poor cat's ear was torn! My new maid left the door open and he ran out and tried to be macho and all that but ended up walking back through the door, dripping blood on the floor.
(sounds rather ABSURD don't you think?)

Thankfully I wasn't awake to witness this... but just when you think THAT was bad, the sound of both my mum & gran having the biggest blow at the maid... now THAT woke me up. I think it's quite sad how mum keeps trying to reason with this maid and talk to her, and she doesn't even seem to listen and she's constantly talking back. The yelling has been kind of overdued... and this is coming from me, I'm normally the one who side the maids. Oh rawr. I put bets that this one won't last past next week. My grandmum has also moved out for the duration of a couple of days because she cannot take the maid.

If it weren't such a serious thing, I would have found this situation entirely comical...
..but than again, that's just me.

I should really go get changed so I can head off to the National Library and get some work done. I'm really looking forward to today, meeting Nat, Dom & Gabe at Heeren at 3 to use that awesome MOOKS voucher and to get some shopping done! I'm in desperate need for new shoes after my 2 flats decided to die over the past week. After that, I'm going to someone's for a movie night.. Looking forward to that too. The only thing I'm dreading is having to lug my stuff all around with me.

Ahh... these are the days when I wish I lived closer to the city.
